Company History

January 2000 Pearl Legal was formed in order to provide specialist legal services to law firms.
 
February 2000 The first recruitment drive and training programme for statement writers commenced.
 
August 2001 Pearl Legal moved into new offices at Europa House in Bury.
 
July 2002 Pearl Legal Ltd was incorporated trading as 'Pearl Legal Group'. The demand for Housing Disrepair witness statements soars and client management becomes a key element of the business ethos. The number of statement writers is increased to 30.
 
November 2002 Further recruitment takes place of in house administrators, writers, amenders and proof readers with the number of statement writers now reaching 50.
 
December 2002 A software consultancy is commissioned to design and develop a new case management and database system in anticipation of further growth.
 
January 2003 The demand for our services and statement writing reaches
unprecedented levels.
 
February 2003 A huge recruitment drive and training period is required taking the total number of writers and ancillary processors up to 75. The company is now processing around 100 new claims per week. In house administration staff is also increased in order to meet with the work demands.
 
March 2003 The installation of the new case management software takes place.
 
May 2003 The testing is complete and the database is deemed fully operational. A financial accounts manager joins the company as well as another administrator.
 
August 2003 The company is now ready for its next phase of expansion and implements a UK wide marketing campaign.
