Upon making contact it is made clear to the client that we have been instructed to take a statement on behalf of their Solicitor. We fully explain the importance of the witness statement, remaining sympathetic and sensitive throughout the interview.

Amendments and Proof Reading
Upon completion our team of ‘Amenders’ routinely check all white draft documents for technical errors, contradictions, exaggeration and omissions.
   
Once the statement has been given the ‘green light’ the document is then forwarded to our proof reading department.

Digital Dictation Document Management

The recent advances in digital dictation software have significantly changed the way in which transcription typing can now be carried out.
   
The need for in house legal secretaries will always be required however rather than employing and maintaining a cumbersome in house typing pool it is far more efficient to outsource this process to our own team of highly skilled legal secretaries.
   
Dictation is carried out as before using a hand held digital recorder. The digital recording is then e-mailed to Pearl Legal whereupon the recording is transcribed and returned within 24 hours in an agreed House Style or specific format as requested by the individual fee earner.
   
For more urgent documents we can turn around typed documents in a matter of hours.
